Members might like to know
that a book (which some of them have contributed memories to) is
being published this summer by I B Tauris: 'Without Glory in Arabia; the
British Retreat from Aden 1960-67' I have written this with another
ex Adeni who served in the Eastern Aden Protectorate as a Political Officer-I
was a PO in the West. The book is partly a history of the 1960-67 period
and partly a collection of peoples memories of the period including a number
of service personnel who were in Aden,or up-country or both. The book is
available on Amazon.
