Taken at Quebec Barracks Northampton about March/April 1958 . In front on photo on the ground is a trophy we won for being best at marching on parade, I know names of many of them, but I remember all the faces.

Number 2 photo from the the top was taken on board the ship called the Delwara, taken about the 6/2/59 on the way TO Aden, on the left is Tony Lawrence, then myself Nev Hancy (Frank) and John Layton who came from Lowstoff. I don`t remember the name of the person on the right, but I remember him very well.

Number 3 photo was taken on the 26/1/1960. We were lined up to go on board the troop ship Dilwara again to go BACK to England.

Number 4 photo is from the same day but taken from the right side of queue with ship Dilwara in the background. (I think that is a good photo ).

Number 5 photo This is the ship Dilwara we went TO Aden on, docked at Malta.

Number 6 photo . Here we are again waiting to go on board Dilwara to England on the 26/1/1960. It is me (Frank) at end of Queue (hoping there will be enough room for everybody on the ship.

Number 7 Card. This Yellow card was my boarding card to get on board Dilwara.

When I was in England I had some more photo,s scaned the first one I am sending was taken at Mukarious Camp on photo on left Brian Gruby (Shorty) on right Nev Hancy (Frank)this place is where we just went to walk on the grass after many day and night patrols (many) on The Barren Rocks of Aden it was like walking on velvet.

This photo was taken at Mukarious Camp when Brian Gruby (Shorty) and I Nev Hancy (Frank) were put on jankers dig a hole.

When we were in Aden our platoon (14 Plt D.Com 1st Northampton,s) was chosen to learn to drive 3ton Bedford lorrys This is the form we were given at that time, plus a few photos, it was great fun learning to drive on an open beach well almost

This place is where the accident happened.

This is one of the lorries that was in the accident, no body was hurt . I remember who was driving they can say if they see photo.
