Up North we had a tour on the Yemen border of three weeks i took some
amazing pictures of the locals but was told they didn't turn out but i suspect they
may have been distroyed for fear of identifying someone.
|
Wadi North on the border if i had a colour camera you would have seen that the scenery quite stunning. We were camped next to an Arab army camp and the town was a few hundred
yards away and one night the town was attacked by local rebels it was quite magnificient it didn't concern us but the Arab camp had one casualty he fell down a
well while he was watching the battle and sadly died.He came back on our plane on a stretcher. Our plane was a transport plane and had a balck scorpion
painted on the tale.
