This was taken at Livingstone,
Africa in September of 1953 on an exercise called "Quick Return" This exercise
was designed to test the capability to get down to South Africa quickly
using unpaved strips etc. We went via Shallufa (Egypt), Wadi Halfa, Khartoum,
Juba, Entebbe, N'Dola and Livingstone to Swartkop near Johannesburg in
the Transvaal. note the Comets in the background.
