1992
Awarded to all British Forces for the campaign Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
General 
Information
The Medal awarded to personnel who had thirty days continuous service in the Middle East (including Cyprus) between 2 August 1990 and 7th March 1991, or seven days between 16th January 1991 and 28th February 1991, or service with the Kuwait Liaison team on 2nd August 1990, the date of the Iraqi invasion. Two clasps were sanctioned and awarded to personnel who qualified for active service with the Liaison team or in the operation to liberate Kuwait. More than 45.000 medals were awarded. 1.500 civilians including members of British Aerospace working at Dahran also received the medal with the clasp 16th Jan to 28th Feb.
Description
The obverse of the medal bears a crowned profile of Queen Elizabeth 11. A rosette is worn on the ribbon alone to denote the campaign clasp.
