Welfare Phonecards Contributed by C/Sgt Raymond Fyfe

During the period of 1998-99 there was a monthly "Issue" of 2 x phonecards to each person on operational service. This was to allow a certain amount of free 'phone calls to friends and loved ones of the troops in theatre.

Complaints had been made about the reliability and quality of the service provided by Hearthside Communications, and the contract was changed.
