Air traffic Flight Plan
Contributed by
This is the standard RAF air traffic form used in 1953. You will note that it covers a flight from Habbaniya ( just outside Baghdad) in Iraq via Mafraq in Jordan to destination Deversoir in Egypt. You will also note a complete lack of any radio aids. Everything out there was done by dead reckoning navigation. Eyeball, map, watch and compass. Go to "Squadron Business' by Ralph Swift |
