Iban Trackers

I served in malaya  with R.A.M.C.  BMH KLUANG, later in July 1951 I was transfered to the MANCH REGT and demob July 1952. Below are some pictures taken on patrol of our Iban Trackers.   The photo of dead bandits you may not want to view.   Some platoon commanders carried 127 cameras to i/d bodies if they couldnt be carried back to nearest pick up point.   In this case the tables were turned when we were ambushed  just out of Kampong Lenkhouse  about nine miles from Sungei Patani Kedah ,7 pln c/coy Manchesters I was pln medic.
