Royal Navy Interception of Jewish immigrants

I found these pictures while searching my fathers records from his time in the Royal Navy. My father preferred to be known as Roy William Coles, but served in the Royal Navy as William Roy Coles.
After sending you the photographs, I found another photograph of my father with three of his shipmates on Haifa beach, and I now recollect him mentioning Haifa Beach many years ago, but my father preferred not to talk much about his service in the RN (my father died in 1978).
