Telegrams from the Radfan
Sgt P K Baxter 3 Para

Contributed by his son Pete Baxter

Sgt. Peter Baxter 3 Para was wounded in action on the Dhalla road in May 1964. Shown below are the telegrams Mrs. Baxter received as well as two letters from the MoD and a newspaper report.

My late father served with 3 Para in Radfan and was the sergaent being
treated by Capt .Jekes when he was killed. Dad also served in the Royal Navy, 3 Para and when he recovered from his injuries he was transfered into the Royal Pioneer  Corps When he was demobbed in 1976 he had been the RSM for around 8 years. Dad died in July last year and I am sure he would of been pleased about your site and the quality of your work

Pete Baxter
