Troops returning from 3hrs shore leave in Valleta Malta on Sunday 3rd March 1957
en route to Limassol Cyprus
Empire Ken leaves harbour at 1800hrs on Sunday 3rd March 1957 ( view from Man
Overboard Sentry position) The Ken steamed 250 miles before noon on the 4th March
and a further 348 miles during the next 24 hours passing close to Crete. She anchored in
Limassol Bay on Wednesday 6th March and disembarked personnel at 7am on 7th March.
