After the victory parade in London, in 1946, we did our own victory parade in Iraq

Frontier Force rifles drum and pipe band, the parade was delayed
so that they could come back from London, as they were in the London parade.

Salute taken by our own commanders, Major. General Loftus-Tottenham, the force commander and Brigadier Bellchamber the Brigade Commander. They asked the Iraq King to take the salute but at the then 8 years of age the Prince Regent said He was too young.
