VALANITES, Andreas. There are three Eoka members of the same name:

  1. Born 1921 - builder, supplier/courier. Interned
  2. Born 1930 - mechanic H&R Pisilia area. Interned
  3. Born 1922 - Textile merchant. Organized Eoka recruitment in the Morphou area. Interned

VASILIADES, Pelipidas (Born Kyperounda in 1935, he was teacher who found hide-outs for Eoka.)

VASILIADES, Stelios (Born Kyperounda in 1933; a cook by occupation and a hit and run gunman in his local area.)

VASILOU Nicos
VASILIOU, Nicos. (Born 1938 in Ay. Phyllia, he was arrested in Lakatomia by Sgt Jack TAYLOR of the UK Police Unit. A Greek Cypriot informer - 'Christos' - took the police to the leader of Eoka's Deftera group.)

VASSILIOU, Andreas
VASSILIOU, Andreas. (He was 17-year-old who worked as an electrician at RAF Akrotiri. With a fellow electrician, Yangos KAPONAS, he smuggled two bombs into a hanger containing four Canberra bombers.

The next day - 26.11.57 - VASSILIOU exploded the bombs, destroying the hanger and causing considerable damage to the bombers.

Base police officers arrested Vassiliou and questioned him thoroughly. Although a key suspect, the police were not able to find sufficient evidence to charge him with any offenses.)

VLAMIS, Andreas
VLAMIS, Andreas. (Born Vouni in 1940, he was killed 20.11.56 during a failed hit-and-run attack in Limassol.)

VRAHIMIS, Antonis. (This 18 year-old was charged in connection with the attempted murder of Pte Roy GARRET in Nicosia on 03.06.56, but was released by the court when GARRET failed to positively identify his assailant.)
