Firstly my apologies for the lack of updates since April 2012; This has been due to a combination of factors, including a house move, the move to a new job location further away, more urgent projects and a general lack of time.
Due to these factors, for the forseeable future, I will not be able to update BSW regularly. I am therefore inviting anyone who wises to take over the running of BSW on day to day basis, compile updates and publish articles to contact me on james@britains-smallwars.com.
The role will involve:
Answering queries - some knowledge of military history or experience of research and answering queries would be ideal.
Coding webpages - xhtml and css skills.
Website maintenance - including maintaining a backup of the website.
Compiling updates of new articles and emailing to the subscription list.
Updating webpages with new information.
Research and publishing new articles where possible.
Maintaining contact with authors, forwarding queries about articles to their respective authors and making any necessary changes with the authors' consent.
Maintaining, archiving and monitoring the CanalZone forum, guestbook and NAAFI forum.
Access to an imaging processing application and basic web coding software will be needed.
Please note this is a voluntary position and is not paid.
