This Roll of Honour is in Memory of all the Gurkha Soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice when they were on active
service during the Malaya Emergency 1948 - 1960
And the Indonesian Confrontation 1962 - 1966
And other conflicts in South East Asia.
Many died in action and others in accidents or of tropical diseases.
There mission was to defeat the communist terrorist or the insurgents from Indonesia
To ensure the freedom of the people of Malaysia
they shall not grow old as we that are left grow old
age shall not weary them
or the Years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in
the morning we will remember them
