RMFVR Jean Aubrey Glamourous Blonde TV Star

Although I missed out on seeing glamourous nurses at Port Said, there is always tomorrow. A couple of years later I was at Poole, Dorset, practising jumping out of LCA.s and wading ashore. It may have been that someone realised that a few of us had "already been there, done that". To sugar the pill, they arranged for a TV personality to be part of the training. The TV personality turned out to be Jean Aubrey, a glamourous blonde TV star, who played a nurse in "Emergency Ward 10". In the photograph you can see that I am helping to carry her ashore. I have to admit that I prefered the wading ashore with this young lady, to wading ashore at Port Said.
