This book represents yet another success for Doctor Thomas Thornborrow, a man who I consider to be a friend, mentor and inspiration. Thomas's experiences and intelligence are used to great effect with this work, and as is the case with Tommy's academic writing I expect, and look forward, to reading much more in the future. I know that this book will 'speak' to many people who read it, some of the themes covered have personal significance to those who read it, and the fact that Thomas treats these issues with insight and respect speaks volumes for both his writing skills and for the man he is. Well done Tommy, you deserve
it.

What's the superlative above "excellent" I felt that this book is truly captivating. I found myself deeply involved with several charactors, moving from one scene to another simlar to watching a very good suspense thriller on T.V
I can see much more "superb" material coming from Thomas
Thornborrow. Can't wait for the sequel. All the very best for the future.

A tough genre to write in these days, very much full to the hilt with 'crime writers' but I think Thomas Thornborrow succeeds in bringing something new to the table, with a highly original reworking of this literary form, creating a riveting mix of criminal conspiracy, authentic action and psychological insight into the military mind. His non-linear writing style disorientates the reader, thrusting them into a living nightmare in an attempt to understand PTSD to a level not previously attempted.

Excellent is an understatement. From the first page throughout, the pace is fast and furious. This book is one you need to put time aside for because once you start, you can't put it down.

Not one of the I seen, and been, and done books.
It's a book that tells it like it is/could be for guys who trained and lived the life where the training manual was no longer the bible,as they too, had now become prophets and brought a new religon to the world, death & retribution.
You'll have to buy this book because I for one will not be passing it on, as I am waiting for the the Big Man to sign it for me.
Watch out Mr McNab........there's a new kid on the block......

Ever since I was young my Dad has had a huge passion for writing and reading, So it was no suprise to me that he wanted to write his own Novel.
When I finally picked up a copy of "Dead Man's Click" I started to read it with some cynicism, however after just reading a couple of pages, I was gripped. This book appeals to all generations and I, not long ago, met a Gentleman in his 70's who had the same passion and enthusiasm for it as me - a 20 year old! I will definitely be recommending it to my friends!
I can honestly say, from an unbiased opinion that this new and different from anything else novel, blew me away. I was left emotionally involved with the characters and desperate to read more!
Looking forward to the Sequel Daddy!

This book needs to come with a warning, only start to read with time to spare and watch out those former servicemen who write suppossed accounts of their experiences. Thomas Thornborrow's attempt at his first fictional thriller/novelis so skillfully written that it's more believable than many of the afore mentioned books. The author does not fall in to the easy option of putting everything down in a time line sequence, he takes you back and forth and that is thesecret of his book. Not only is there a cracking, believable plot the story keeps you as the reader on your toesthinking ahead trying to second guess the author, ( I failed miserably ). but making you think backto confirm where situations had originated. The author has surely drawn on many personal experiences which make the book harder to put down, by combining those with good descriptive literary skills to paint vivid pictures of personalities, places and atmosphere.
In all " Dead Mans Click" has the don't put me down appeal of Forsyth's "The Day Of The Jackal" with the attention to detail of any of Tom Clancy's books and the original good story line of Wilbur Smith. Buy this book, read it, you will reccommend it. Well done Mr. Thornborrow.
