I have just managed to obtain a copy of this book and looked forward to reading it with great pleasure. I was not disappointed. I found this book very interesting as I served with the Signal Platoon 1st K.O.Y.L.I. during the time that the book records. Although I did most of my jungle bashing with "A" Company. Certainly brought back memories. I was a regular.

This book gives a detail account of the everday life of a private infantry soldier during the Malayan Emergency.
