Covernotes
Reasons in Writing is probabaly
the only book to have been written by someone who knew the Islands before
during and after the 1982 conflict. As such it has a true and
authentic ring to it - written by someone who was privy to many of the
secrets and who had an almost unlimited ability to move about the
battle field.
This is the only book that
has been able to put the planning into perspective and to dispel
the myth that Admiral Woodward chose San Carlos. The book also contains
the only correct account of the eventgs that led up to the tragedy to the
two LSLs at Fitzroy. The author is in the role of the small boy who
had the courage to tell the emperor that he had no clothes on.
Much humour, humility and fine writing by not only a profressional commando soldier but now a professional writer.
